Industrial 3D Animation For A Nuclear Energy Company

Oklo Inc. is an advanced nuclear technology company based in Santa Clara, California.

The Problem

Oklo’s Aurora Powerhouse generates electrical power using nuclear fission reaction. This complex operation is challenging to explain using photography or video.

The Solution

Oklo connected with the team at Nashbox Studios, a 3D animation studio the specializes in explainer animations for industrial clients. While our lead studio is located in Nashville, we also have a satellite location in Vancouver Canada. Using these two locations we can serve clients in both the US and Canada. 

If an energy company has a complex product offering, as is the case with this client, industrial animation and renderings are a good option to create marketing content. With this in mind, the client partnered with us for their trade show asset requirements.

The Results

We delivered a 49 second industrial animation with a greyscale color theme. This animation will be used as a standalone asset as well as a part of a larger video asset, both on the client’s website and their trade show booth.

One of our other clients, JR Automation, has seen a 15% increase in foot trafic retention at their booths. Oklo may experience a similar uptick in their metrics as well.
